Dear Brerhren,

With the state of LA moving into phase 1 and phase 2, there is still a requirement of 6 feet social distancing.  We have 3 sections that consist of 6 chairs across and 8 rows back.  6 feet consists of 4 chairs.  That means we can only seat 2 people per section covering every other row, which is 6 across and 4 rows equaling 24 students.  Because of this, it does not allow us to meet the social distancing requirement for a membership of 50, only counting adults.  Therefore, the Baton Rouge Branch will remain closed until further notice.

With the reopening of Ohio as released on May 29, 2020, by the Governor and Ohio Department of Health Director Amy Acton, M.D., MPH; the Franklin-Middletown, Ohio branch implemented the following measures to reconvene in a safe environment to view the MP4s as a witness to Dr. Kinley's presence:

A contingency plan was sent to all class members two weeks prior to the June 11, 2020, reopening of class. All members were contacted and asked to make themselves familiar with the safety requirements and expectations before returning to class. A brief overview of some of those requirements are as follows:

- Members are to wait in their cars upon arrival. Each car will be notified by a designated officer as to when to enter the building.

- Your mask must be on and gloves in hand as you approach the building.

- Each member will have their temperature taken at the door and questioned for any health symptoms within the last 24 hours.

- To ensure a safe and proper socially distant environment, extra chairs were removed from the room to enforce the 6-foot spacing requirement while allowing only families to sit next to each other. Families are kept 6 feet away from individuals. Seats are assigned for active members which leaves only two seats available before reaching capacity.

- Signs are posted in the restrooms for members to follow before returning to his/her seat.

- After the doxology, the moderator will stagger the dismissal of members to maintain the appropriate distance. After everyone has departed, the designated members will thoroughly sanitize the chairs and wipe down the equipment and doors.

Regular class meeting dates have been moved to Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Our normal class meeting times of Sunday, Monday and Wednesday did not allow for an extra days spacing for the proper sanitizing of the room.

We will also monitor all communications from the Governor and State Health Director concerning the number of cases in various counties that affect our members and make adjustments accordingly. The officers have agreed that if the number of cases in our immediate area is climbing, it will not require a mandate from the Governor or State Health Director for classes to be paused.
